had a fab stay at the globe inn! the room was super comfy with a wet room that worked fine. the staff were really friendly and made us feel at home. the food was brill too, generous portions and totally yum! also, the locals were nice and created a great vibe.
but the breakfast timing was a bit annoying cause it started too early, and the noise from the bar made it hard to relax.

My thoughts, in two sentences
A warm and welcoming landlady strives hard to ensure everyone's comfort, making it a pleasant base for Dartmoor explorations. Unfortunately, the older infrastructure presents some cleanliness issues that detract from the experience.

Friendly staff made my stay enjoyable.
I was appalled by the filthy bathroom. There were pubic hairs everywhere, and the toilet brush looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Breakfast was problematic too. we were left standing at a locked door with no one responding when we arrived. Leaving through the fire escape was unacceptable. I would never recommend this hotel.
